Position: First Shift Hydraulics Assembler

 Responsibilities:

  • This position will layout, plan, and perform basic assembly of standard company products, primarily large hydraulic presses. Assistance on the more complex units may also be required.
  • Appropriate candidate would possess skill and knowledge of pipefitting and hydraulics.
  • Other duties and responsibilities assigned.

The work is completed from drawings, blueprints, engineering specifications and instructions.  Assembler determines locations of components, mounts unit to frames, installs and mounts hydraulic lines and pumps and assembles unit to specifications.  Candidate must be able to select, cut, fit, thread and form piping.  The assembly process also includes determining the best location and layout of lines and connection of piping, fittings, valves, pumps, gauges, and controls.  This position assists in diagnosing, isolating, and correcting malfunctions and checking for proper operations.

Education:

  • Applicant must have knowledge of pipefitting and hydraulic symbols. 
  • Candidate would possess the skills to read and interpret drawings and blueprints, engineering specifications. 
  • This position uses a variety of hand and power tools, gauges, rule, scale, tube bender, and threading equipment.

 Position: First Shift Panel Wire Assembler

 Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will perform a variety of duties necessary to assemble and wire electrical panel and controls for a press.
  • Fabricating, installing wiring harnesses, and other electrical components as necessary to prints specifications. 
  • Use test devices, meters, scales, and hand tools.
  • Other duties and responsibilities assigned.

Education:

  • Applicant must have the ability to read electrical schematics, blue prints, and drawings. 
  • Mechanical skills, basic electrical skills, and basic hydraulic knowledge are needed.
  • This position must be able to operate a variety of hand operated power tools.

3rd Shift Test Inspector

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of duties necessary to assemble and wire electrical panel and controls to a press.
  • Fabricate and install wiring harness and other electrical components as necessary.
  • Use test devices, meters, scales and hand tools.
  • Set up and test machinery to customers spec.
  • Selected person must own or be willing to purchase required small hand tools.
  • Other duties and responsibilities assigned.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • Candidate must have the ability to read electrical schematics, blue prints and drawings.
  • Good mechanical skills, basic electrical skills and basic hydraulic knowledge required.
  • Candidate also needs to have experience at trouble-shooting electrical circuits and hydraulic circuits. PLC programming would be a plus.
  • Applicant must be able to operate a variety of hand operated power tools.

Position: Part-Time Custodian

We are looking for a responsible custodian to maintain and protect our facilities. The appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a custodian to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises.The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep. A keen eye for detail and diligence are also imperative in custodial maintenance jobs.

Position:  Third Shift Gundrill Operator

Responsibilities:

  • Review drawings, blueprints or job instructions to determine requirements. 
  • Locate, position and secure work piece in holding fixture or device. 
  • Insert proper tooling, set stops, feeds and speeds and engage controls.
  • Adjust machine as necessary to maintain tolerance requirements. 
  • Change tools as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities assigned.

Skills and Education:

  • Requires ability to set up, adjust and operate: edge mill, radial drill, gun drill, surface grinder and Blanchard grinder.

Edge mill:

  • Ability to mill parts square and to required size.

Grinders:

  • Ability to perform repetitive and simple flat surface grinding where tolerances are standard and readily maintained. 
  • Set, mount and secure work piece. 
  • Set and mount or dress wheels.
  • Set and adjust table feed and speeds and operate controls. 
  • Adjust feeds, speeds, etc. as necessary to compensate for wheel wear and to maintain required finish and dimensional tolerances. 
  • Change wheels as necessary.

Drills:

  • Setup, adjust and operate drills to drill, ream, tap, counter-bore, etc. essentially deep hold drill operations on a variety of products and parts.
  • Must have ability to read and work from blueprints, have knowledge of precision measuring instruments. 
  • Requires ability to work with minimal supervisory contact.
