Compression Molding Presses

C-Frame Presses
Long Work Pieces can Extend Beyond the Clamp on Both Sides of this Hydraulic Press

WABASH has extended the modular design concept to these versatile presses with an open throat for greater flexibility in rubber molding, seam bonding, splice molding, encapsulating, trimming and laminating long work pieces.

Beginning with a WABASH 15 or 30-ton Genesis Series or a 50, 75 or 100 ton Vantage Series press, each machine can be configured to perform your precise task. Many options are available including heated platens. Individual temperature controllers and other options permit fine tuning of the performance of each press. Standard features on these C-Frame units include heavy duty slab steel side frames for rigidity and minimum deflection. Down acting cylinder means work height remains fixed during operation. Precision ground steel platens are machined parallel and level within +/-.001 in/ft. for precise quality results.

An integral hydraulic system features a gear or variable volume, pressure compensated pump (varies by model). A pressure relief valve is included for adjustable clamp force.
